Default Music Video on the roof

Hi - here's a music video I made last week on the roof of the local YMCA. Shot with one camera - Panasonic NVGS 180. I would really appreciate any suggestions for how I could improve future shoots. It looks quite jerky because I've not compressed it very well.

    Thanks

    Robin

ps - the band are called the New Vinyls

I thought that was very well made, nice edit, pacey and suited the music (which i liked) well. Some of the h held shots were a bit too shakey.

A cheap stedi cam can be improvised for smooth tracking shots by attatching the camera to the tripod and holding the tripod at the balance point. I have used this a few times. Not as good as the real thing but can be effective.

Waht editor did u use? If u can try using a few video fx to make the look more interesting.

hi Mark - I used PPro 1.5 to edit it but didn't use any effects. What would you recommend? I was wondering about fading some of the shots into eachother but thought it might look a little cheesey - in a kind of Old Grey Whistle Test way! What software do I need to change the overall appearance of the video? Is there a 'mastering' package similar to something you might use to master a mixed audio track? (Not sure if I explained myself very well there).

Thanks for your comments - I really apreciate it.

that was pretty good. i would surgest using some colour correction within premiere just to give it more contrast..... but other than that i thought it went very well with the song and the look of the band.

    nice job

ps. are the band call new vinyls? cos there is a band called new vinyl look -> http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endid=34879025
