    Default Demo Reel

    Hello all,

I'm currently doing my undergrad in Canada here and I'm wondering what sort of ideas you guys could throw my way about content on a demo reel I'm going to start compiling to get into a post graduate course.

Should I film small movies and put them on? Should I film short visual effects? Should I put together a music video?

I just have been racking my brain trying to think of a great way to put my portfolio together.

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dan

Music vids are quite good for this sort of thing, you can do what you like visually and narratively add all sorts of whacky visuals and still have a coherent product.

Agreed. Music videos allow a lot of room to show different aspects of work.

    Good idea!
