Default timeline problem between A.P and A.F

I have rendered a targa sequence on 3dmax,
If i import it in adobe premiere, i get about 1 min,3 secs of video
but on after effects i get about 55 seconds, all options are the same
Pal, dv, resolution, fps, I need to fix this or else , i will have to import frame by frame on photoshop to do the work.
by the way the normal timming is in premiere, where the sequence has prefect timming with the audio, it is like after effects fast forwards it.
    Thank you in advance

This may not be your solution, but what length of time did you specify in the compositions settings? Look in the comp settings the lower part of the dialogue box is the length of the comp.
