Default Need HELP with Sony DVD Architect Studio 3.0

I am a newbie to Vegas Movie Studio and DVD Architect 3.0. My first question involves menus in the finished DVD. This is what my project overview window looks like:

    Video.dar
Intro Media (this is where I put my company name, name of the video, etc.)
    Video Clip 1 (folder title)
Video Clip 1 ("menu" for video clip 1 only)
    Video Clip 1 (video clip)
    Video Clip 2 (folder title)
Video Clip 2 ("menu" for video clip 2 only)
    Video Clip 2 (video clip)

The problem: On the burned DVD the video clip 1 "menu" comes up after each video clip. I would like the menu for video clip 2 to appear on the screen after video clip 1 is finished playing. How do I do this? Thanks!

In the end action of Video Clip 1, select what you want it to do there. (properties pane on the right)

Here is a printscreen. Do you think I screwed up in the Project Overview or the properties. Since there are two options titled Heat 2 under "Destination", it is possible I chose the wrong one. If I did choose the video clip instead of the menu could this cause the menu to default back to the Heat 1 menu after each video clip? Thanks!

I have looked in the manual and in online help and neither really say which options do what...so I don't know if it is one thing in the combination or all...I also haven't figured out how to preview the movie without rendering. Is there a way I can play a video clip through, including menu, so I can tell if it is working or not?

Ummmm... I know this may sound obvious... but if you click the 'Preview' button at the top, you can preview the entire disc or just the page you have selected.

I tried the preview button and it only plays the clip...How do I unselect the clip so I can preview all? Thanks!

AAAAHHHHH! I will give that a try when I get home....THANK YOU!! Any ideas on where I went wrong with my menus? I wonder if there is a Vegas for Dummies? The manual and online help aren't much help...I shall go to Amazon now!

With menus you just have to think logically. Plan it out on paper first (and don't give two different things the same name!). Look out for end actions and don't forget to make sure the buttons skip logically for a remote control to navigate. If you put things in not in the order they'll be viewed, the menu automatically gets them a bit wrong. To the left of the preview pane (under the arrow symbol) when you're in a menu screen, click it and it'll show where the remote will go next.

    Good luck.
