Capturing audio dubbed to tape I recently got all the equipment to edit video from my Canon ZR25 miniDV on my PC. Having had this camera for a few years, I used to dub audio onto the tape directly through the camera. Today, I am trying to put those old videos onto the computer, and it isn't working out the way I thought it would.
When I record video onto the VCR, I simply switch between "Stereo1" and "Stereo2" to record original audio and sounds I have dubbed over. However, on the computer, despite switching the camera to "Stereo2", the computer only captures the original sound and not what is dubbed. As an extreme newbie to video editing on the computer, is there something simple I'm missing? I'd really hate to have to re-do all the original audio mixes I already have on tape.
Thanks. |
