Default Itunes Help

Hi, newbie so go steady <please>.

I have read the other post on the forum in this section about trying to get itunes songs to convert into a format that can be used with Premier Pro, but being a bit of a biffa, I still cannot work it out?

Please help!

Someone mentions elsewhere here that you can convert/save an Itune song into an MP3 using Win Med Player. Whenever I try and open the Itune in WMP it says it cannot open the file... so how do i then convert it?

Am I missing something increadibly simple? I am guessing so.

thanks you muchly for any help given?

Forgive me for being thick, but can't you burn to CD, then RIP back to mp3?

right yeah... will give it a try...

I guessed that if I burnt the AAC files to CD then when I opened it again they would remain AAC files...

Will give it a bash.

Thanks.

well go into windows media player, and go to the options panel, and click rip music tab, then change what format it rips to, i.e. mp3..... and then go into the rip music tab and rip what you want.... problem solved..

cheers all... just so you know, "burnt" it to CD, "ripped" it back to MP3 (all very aggressive stuff) in Widows Media Player (hubby WMP died).

Then, I imported it to Premier pro, trimmed it to size and then the c-wording thing would not go into time bar section...

Gave up and used another track I had on file

All's well that ends well.
