Default no audio when capturing in premiere

hi everyone!
I'm starting just yet with adobe premiere pro and I can't capture any sound, with capturing video I don't have any problem. I'm using a Sony Handycam PC-350E, is it possible that that isn't supported bij premiere?
thanks a lot!

Are you sure you audio isn;t capturing? Could it be that your audio is set to play from the DV hardware as default. Check your settings.

I had the opposite problem 2 nights ago. I could hear the sound and it was captured but no video was displayed on the capture window -thankfully it was there after the capture ended. My Panny wasn't on the 'invite' list so I just set it to Generic and it worked ok.
