Default Organise sound effects, loops etc.

Over the years I've collected loads of sound effects, ambient sounds, loops and various other bits of audio.

Does anyone know of good software to play / catalogue / organise all of these files. Google throws up millions of names and all roads lead back to Windows Media Player and its library system but I'm keen to keep that for music only.

Thanks

I agree with LukeD about Itunes, I find it hard to fault and it did come installed on my PC.
