simple voice to Phone Voice Effects ?

: Can anyone tell me how to effect an simple audio like phone audio as we hear on the phone voice you know what i mean

(as in many films they use effects like this)

as i recorded a voice but want to giv it effects like phone voice as we hear ?
(infact i am using vegas 6 )

Hi Manjoo.

On your audio track, select Track FX, then select the Track EQ tab and using the toggles (numbered 1 to 4) use 1 to pull out the bass, use 4 to pull out the treble, and use 3 and 4 to boost the middle frequencies.

If you loop the clip and play it while you adjust the settings you can live preview the changes you make.

Yeah, the real secret for that is 1K-2K give or take. A distortion plugin adds to the realism. Compression the crap out of it is essential too
