Lightbulb Free non copyrighted music for your youtube channel

If your looking for some free non copyrighted music that you can put in your videos, your in the right place! My name is Brandon and I created the channel called ShizzyDubstep now my intention for this channel was to upload the best non copyrighted dubstep songs for you guys to use in your videos but I have decided to upload all kinds of free non copyrighted songs! So if you need some songs come check out my channel. www.youtube.com/ShizzyDubstep now there is not much there yet but there will be soon so make sure to go ahead and subscribe so you will be the first to know when I upload awesome songs! I started this channel because I am a Youtuber and make videos myself! One day I was looking for a good non copyrighted song to put in one of my video but I had to search like 12 different websites in order to find the right song. So I thought it would be a great idea to upload some songs to 1 YouTube channel so that it would be easier for people to find some! So hopefully I will help you on with your videos and save you some time!

Also you can follow me on twitter!

The problem is because in reality there is no such thing as non copyright or uncopyrighted music. You can give the rights away if you want, but copyright always exists somewhere. Searching for license free or other terms often brings back more results. Music producers can allow you to use their music free of charge if they wish, but only very rarely will they give copyright away. The trouble is that if you run a site and make the tracks available, you need proper permission from whoever does really hold the rights - and this is what causes problems. I could give you a track but how would you know it was ok to use? Would you take my word it's mine to give away. Very often crafty producers allow their work to be distributed and just wait for it to be played on radio 1, when they announce their ownership and wait for the royalties to arrive.

One of the songs on your youtube site is Phil Collins Groovy kind of love - hardly dubstep and NOT copyright free. Another of your dubstep links has a tiny note on the linked page that says
All Uploads Are Free To Download With The Labels Or Artists Direct Permission.
Cop outs like this do not mean they have no copyright issues - download this - but only when you have gained the direct permission of the artist is not really going to work, is it?

I see no point in a site linking to other people's pages when all you're doing is just picking your favourite tracks that may or may not be legal.

If you are going to do it properly, then you need to research it a bit better. Copyright free is an oxymoron - it doesn't exist. No fee to use could be accurate, but copyright resides with somebody or a business.

While some of the links, like the last one are free - non are copyright free - as in giving your work away without permission. The reasonably new Copyright Commons UK version is useful - remember that if you publish somebody elses's work commercially - as in for profit, or even self-promotion of your business, then you can't do it. It's been tested in Europe in Holland - with photos covered by a CC license being used in a magazine. So while these products are useful, they're not always a 'cure' and of course you also need to consider quality. Some are good quality - in terms of technical and musical quality - others are really dreadful. You get what you pay for (or perhaps don't).

We have music on our website RoyaltyFreeze - Royalty Free Music you can use completely free for your non-commercial project. And indeed poster Paulears is right, the music is not copyright free, but I think what the poster ment was music that can be used without paying performance rights or any other fees. This does not free the tracks from copyright, but you don't hav to pay to use them.
