Default 4 Channel Audio Capture

Premiere doesn't support 4 channel audio capture. This is a pain in the butt as I need to capture audio from the rear channel (wireless lapel mic) and the ambient sound from the stereo onboard (or a better mic at a later date).

So anyone know of software that captures 4 channels via firewire?

Ah, it was just a test then. I assumed you needed to actually find out for yourself.
