Default Problems with MA300 Adapter

Hello there

I have the MA300 adapter and two Senenheiser ew100 G2 mics, the problem is when I conect them to the camera, I can see that the mics are picking up the sound and the meter on the side of the camera is also boucing, the problem is though that I can hardly hear anything on my head phones.

But and its a but, when I connect them into the mic jack on the camera the sound comes through loud and clear.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Beginner in at the deep end!

yes the headphones are plugged in just when using the MA300 adapter the sound is really faint, I afraid of using it as what Im doing is useless without sound, as I said works fine when plugged direct into the 3.5 jack on the camera

Try doing a test shoot and then playback on the pc and check the sound quality.
