Default Getting audio into my computer

Analogue Panasonic camcorder. P4 3.2GHz ASUS motherboard. Pinnacle stereo TV/video capture.
1 TV works ok with sound
2 S-video input from camcorder good picture but no sound.
3 Composite video from camcorder to ancient MAC Performa (but no DVD/RW) sound and video ok
4 No composite video intake on back of new computer (no Rand L audio input sockets)
5 Compsite video audio jacks do not fit any sound input sockets.

What can i try. Going slightly demented. Please help.

ps not very computer knowledgeable therefore use simple terms to aid my understanding.
Bryce

Get a 2 x phono to 3.5mm stereo jack, which should look something lke this:

Then plug the jack into the line in (prob blue I think) on your mobo/soundcard.

you might also have to buy an adapter from the bigger plug in to the headphone jack (1/, but just look at the chord, and see if the heafphone plug will go into your comp.
