Default time lapse programs

Hi i would like a simple time lapse program for a snow boarding video i want to shot

just want to know if there is a free program that allows me to speed up the video

any help would be great thanks

Time lapse means to shoot at very low frame rate to speed things up - like flowers opeing - is that really what you mean?

Or do you want slow motion ?
