.....I made the film below with a digital 8 tape camera (old) and the external mic from Maplins and whilst its nowhere near pro!!!, its good enough for now till i get more experience.....
Excellent effort Matt. (I thought alot of the comments left were unfair, too). The girl hammed it up nicely. And you're right... it's a great start and your cheapo mic did an ok job. I was simply pointing out to essedarius the pitfalls of buying cheap for the sake of it.
Just goes to show what can be achieved on no budget.
