Default Take away the music!

Hi there,

I have some movies on my computer that I would like to make some homemade trailers of. I was just wondering if there are any programs out there that allow you to get rid of music and have only the voices and sound effects remaining? I know it's possible to get rid of voices, but not sure about the other way around...

Thanks,
Spidey01

If the audio is all recorded on the one track, then you are stuck with it.

Im afraid to say its practically impossible unless everything you want of get rid is is centred and all the bits you want to keep are panned fully.

It wont get rid but the voices can be made clearer in some cases by bossting the vocal frequencies ( around 1khz, google it), but as said above you wont be able to remove the music totallly.
