well i have a video that is 700+ mb big... so i decide to convert it into real media format to reduce its size.. which software should i use?

Why Real Media? Excuse my bluntness but pretty much a dead end there.

You can do a search on versiontracker for video converters - there are several free software downloads you can use and most will do a couple of formats.
I agree real media probably isn't your best bet.
