To do this, first rubber band the clip, then right click on the audio section, select properties, then tick the box 'lock to stretch' next to 'pitch change. Job done.

My version is too old or I'm too old or yours is too old? Not sure which you mean...

46?!! Ya punk kid! I'll be 64 in November!
Seriously, my 40's were the best years of my life. But a lot of it can't be told on a family-oriented forum. LOL

mark w,
i haev grouped them by selecting them both with control button. then right click make new G etc, they are grouped, (definitely even says so in their properties)
however
on the audio track of the group it does not haev the option in its properties "lock to stretch" cant see it anywhere.
only have
Mute
Lock
Loop
Invert Phase
Normalize
lock jus lcoks it so i cant stretch it at all. it does not do the lock to stretch function which u pointed out. =(
want the audio in slow motiion, not in echo effect

The option will only appear AFTER you have rubber banded the clip. Try that...

I don't get it. I need to do something as simple as playing and entire clip at double speed.
I get the rubberband method, dragging the end holding ctrl, but that doesn't tell me precisely how fast it is.
Is there some place I am not seeing where I can just select exactly what speed I want this clip at?
There is no option for speed, when I right click on the clip. Not after rubberbanding it either.
