i need to render it so that my 950 mb avi file is like 100mb instead.... switch to mpeg2? or ?? how do i shrink it down so i can put it on youtube or something.?

Go to file, Render as, Pick your codec WMV, QT, then pick the compression 256,512, 3mb ec...

Just a note: Don't knock the quality too low for UTube, there's nothing worse than a good video over-pixelated. Most people have broadband now, (2MB average) so I'd keep it above 10MB. Saying that, even 100MB is too big for that purpose.

For 920MB ---> 100MB I'd say use DivX or XVid Codecs
And for 920Mb ----> UTube sizes, use WMV as stated above and have a play around with the bitrates to find the best for your purpose
