Thread: Loud click in VO recording

In Vegas 6.0, I have frequently noticed a loud click, usually near the beginning or end of the VO record. I am sure there is a simple solution for this, but I haven't found it yet. I have a good POP cover on the mic so it shouldn't be that. I suspect there is an audio plug-in for this, but I have no idea what it is or what setting to use.

Learning is fun, but can be frustrating.

Anyone know?

I know this isn't particularly useful, but I would simply snip out the clicks on the waveform. As long as they aren't actually over the voice it won't be a problem. An anti pop plug-in will alter the VO to such a degree as would make it horrible.

As for finding the actual cause of the pop, I aint got a clue....

I would love to be able to do that, but they areright over the voice. Even expanding the time line view won't allow me the precision to do that. The idea is good, though. I have done it with other little problems.
