hi everyone
ive used sony vegas for a long time and it worked perfectly, but recently i got a new pc and installed vegas 6 and when i try to import video or audio it says
"an error occured while importing the aaf file (the file would be here).
an error occured while reading the file. make sure you have read access to the file/folder and it is not corrupted"
i import the file from the explorer
can any one plz help me

Are you using the full version of vegas or movie studio? check to see if the files are set to read only. oh... are you using the newest update?

how do you check if there to read only ?

Right click the file in Windows Explorer, go down to file properties and check there. Untick Read Only if it's ticked.

If that dose not do the trick check to see if your logged in as admin. Otherwise you may not be allowed to open them.
