Im trying to do something similar with my project, and i was wondering if the introduction (both the complexity and reflex intros) were possible to make in vegas. If possible, can you explain what effects were used?

As good as vegas is, I don't think it can be done. I use third party titling software like bluff titler DX9, cool 3d, pro dad even after effects. Just do a search for those programs and download the demo and see if they can do what you want. Just remember to "try before you buy" it can get expensive other wise.
