Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Text Question in Credit Roll

When doing text in Credit Roll in Vegas Movie Studio, I haven't been able to access the same features as in the regular text such as outlines and shadow. Am I missing something or is there some other trick to this?

I'm not 100% sure, but I dont think that option exists in Vegas 6's credit roll either. I'll check later when I get back.

Heh Heh, I solved my own problem. I did it in regular text and then used track motion to make it behave like credit roll. Doing multiple formats like credit roll might be a problem, but it might be done with multiple text units that overlap? Some more play time is in store, I can see that!

I have added effects like that by bunging a duplicate of the credit roll on another track - for shadow just make it a dark colour and offest it a bit, if you change the size a tiny bit the shadows move a give a cool effect of depth as the credits move.
