Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Credits help *Solved*

Hello All

I am comming to the end of making a film and am putting in the credits. However I am having some troubles with doing so. I am after a smooth transition through the keyframes but instead endup with a sharp change at the actual points. How can I fix that problem?

Thanks all

Geekman

EDIT: I have been able to solve the problem. Thanks anyway

I ended up just using the text overlay in Vegas 6, that way I could control every aspect of the text and do some fancy movements with it as well. It ended up looking pretty nice when done too .

How do you normally do your credits?

If I am feeling very lazy, just one screen of text using the text tool, less lazy - the credit scroller, keen - as you have done, keyframe them in and out with track motion and add some groovy music / outtakes / silly pics ect.

I think it is worth spending time on the intro / credits on something you have worked hard on - I liken it to putting a pressie in a nice box - with ribbons.

lol, thanks for the advice, Mark. Should be good once completed even though it doesn't match up to some of your creations. It was all filmed with a panasonic hand-held 3CCD dv camera. Neat but not as nice as a Sony VX9000e.

thanks again,

Geekman

You would be suprised... the quality of a modern 3 chip compact is probably better than my vx9000, and low light performance will be better for sure. I just like the handling qualities of the big camera.
