When I first started using Vegas 6.0 I noticed that there were no names on the events I was dragging to the timeline. How do I keep the names out of timeline. I do know I can go to properties and remove the name. I just don't want names to clutter. I want to put events in timeline without having to go to properties and deleting name.

in preferences under the general tab there is a tick box for it in there
