Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

render for what?

Are you laying back to tape?
Is it for web?
Is it for DVD?

What's the final source gonna be?

well i suppose ill personally mostly be using windows media player, but i might upload them, for anyone to download, and the player will be thier choice.

I know about file types avi, mov, wmv etc, but i dont know what sort of setting are best in the vegas program, im not sure weather to use PAL DV or PAL SD or any of the others. i know PAL is our UK standard and NTSC is America and other places. i know the difference in PAL and NTSC is the amount of lines and frequency of the displayed picture. PAL being a higher quality

how that helps
