Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Cool Fading Text Color...

In one of my clips I ahve a text that is over the clip that says the person's name. The text starts out white and and through the period of over a second, it changes to black. How did I do this? I want to do it for more clips but I can't seem to figure out how I even did that?!?

In the Text box, click on properties and you can change the colour, also if you drop in key frames you can change the colour as the clip progresses.

I don't understand the bold part... do you think you could explain it a little better?
Thanks!

OK, Bring up the text box, on the bottom left you will see "text" on the right of that you will see a "time line of sorts" and bellow that you will see 4 arrows and a + and a - sign in the clear strip above them tou can place "key frames" they appear as a diamond shape and tell the computer of a change in the editing, click in the line half way along the page and then click the + sign, now goto the properties and change the colour, as you play the clip now you wills see that it changes fron the default colour to the colour that you picked. I hope im not being confusing, the best thing to do is have a play.
