Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Ok I am brand new to video editing. I am into alot of extreme sports so I have been putting together alot of clips I have. For now I have been using just the basic Windows Movie Maker, which is alright but not to many capabilities. I have picked myself up a copy a Sony Vegas 6 and pretty much have no idea how to do any of the possibilities it offers. So could someone either tell me how to do some cool things, or mainly I was wondering if there are any sites or anything with tutorials. I have found so many for like photshop and stuff but everything I find for Vegas cost and I already spent enough for Vegas so for now don't really ant to spend anymore.

Thnx

As with any Software application but especially with Video software you need to PLAY with it. Its the only way you'll learn.

As mark says paly and play and play. It took me about a year of fiddling to really get to grips with most of what vegas can do.
