    Default 'no head' effect...

Hi, first post, sorry if this is the wrong forum.
I have sony vegas and am wanting to find out how to do an effect where it looks as if a person in a video doens't have a head.
Basically, If i have a video of me walking into a room with the camera fixed on a tripod, I want to just edit my head out so there's a body walking around.. with no head!

Do I need another program? if so which one?
How would I go about doing this in sony vegas video?
    THANKS FOR ANY HELP

It is simple to do that actually, just get a still image of the room with noone in it and place it under the video that you are walking in. Then use a cookie cutter or crop out what you want of your body showing and keyframe it to your movements.

Or put a green cloth on your head and key it out.

Use Chroma Keyer in conjunction with Chroma blur to key out. As far as mask use Vegas help to learn the tools. Lots of good info there.

I don't have a green cloth the right size. Will a plastic bag do? And should a seal it down with duct tape so it doesn't move around?

if you have actually used the plastic bag AND duck taped it down you may find yourself dying.
