well ive been recording my playing halo the pc through my digital camcorder and s-video cable, after uploading my video i encoded all the videos with the bink and smacker and the divx 4.11 codec taht was included in the klite codec pack. Well now after encoding it, i cannot view it in vegas to edit it, all it has is a black screen. if u ppl could help me thatd be very great.

Well, I just imported DivX into the timeline with no problems (alebit the video was a bit jumpy where the footage has to be rendered before preview). It could be either the Klite codec pack screwing things up or you system not being able to render the video quick enough - try adjusting the preview quality. Aditionally, do you see thumnails in the timeline?
