Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default grabbing a single frame as a jpg/gif

OK, I know how to grab a sequence of frames using a script but how do I capture a single frame.

Say I move the curser in the timeline to a specified point and want to capture as a jpg/gif exactly what is displayed in the preview window.

any ideas anyone!

Just click the little floppy disc icon in the preview window. Job done.

yeah! I already set the preview to max when I capture frames. I spent ages looking through the help files for 'single capture'. Just goes to show that sometimes it is right under your nose.

I have alway assosiated the 'floppy disk' icon with 'save project/file'. If only I had run the mouse pointer over the icons for the tool tips... ah well!
