I am looking to buy a video card that is fully compatible with Vegas. I am really interested in the Matrox RTX100 but I understand that it doesn't work with Vegas, and I am not sure that I am interested in migrating to Premiere Pro. Any advice on if this card would work, or suggestions for others would be appreciated.

I believe I'm correct in saying that the RTX100 will add no functionality to Vegas. In fact, I don't think there's any hardware support - but I'll do some searching

Your matrox rtx100 will capture video, but won't do realtime effects and transitions - and cannot export dv and mpeg2 realtime either
