Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Vegas and .wmv

Hi,

Only a few question in 1 really

How good is vegas for editing .wmv's?

Is it smooth?

Do the filters work correctly?

Does colour correction work right? that kind of thing.

Cheers.

Thanks for that.

I won't be using it as my main app, but I am getting alot of .wmv stuff to edit recently.

my usual editor won't touch it except for export, and premiere seems too clunky and unstable with .wmv

Cheers.

When I was trying editors I found vegas very stable and it accepts almost anything on the timeline with no fuss, except xvids.
