Can anyone help me with a shine like text effect?
Here's a sample of what I'm trying to do. http://www.trapcode.com/movies/smoke.mov
I don't need to have the text rotate or have the smoke effect. I really just want light to shine through the text using Vegas Movie Studio (VMS).
The sample above is a plugin for adobe after effects, which I don't have. I'm going to need to do this in VMS.
Any help is appreciated.

Like this? http://www.zaskarfilms.com/Films/Temp/raytry.wmv
Effect is spoiled by the compression used. Not really 'rays' but close enough.
Here is the vegas project file if it will load into VMS, if not I can describe how i did it. http://www.zaskarfilms.com/Films/Temp/raytry.veg

0 Videos nominated Video Of the Month(s): 0 | | Got it that time, but
My VMS can't open the veg files. The VMS files are .vf format.
I did figure out how to create the effect on my own. I used a text media generator and added the light ray effect that panned behind the text. I had to tweak the light ray effect a little to get it to work good enough. It's not the best, but it looks ok.
Thanks for the veggie. Once I graduate to Vegas, I'll use it.
