Vegas 4...Issue with Main Buss & L1 (V3 Projects)

Hello, I have been opening my V3 projects in V4 and I have noticed that each time I had an L1 Ultramaximizer across the main buss, there was much less gain in the final mix, and a noticeable amount of distortion also happening.

It's like projects created in V3, where this specific situation existed, couldn't translate properly in V4. Has anyone else noticed this type of thing? Thanks, D
