Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the student/academic version of Vegas 6 and the retail version of Vegas 6? I am pretty sure, from what I've read, that there isn't a difference, but I would like to know from someone who using the student version. I'm probably incorrect is saying student version. It's probably more like a student discount on the retail verion. Just wanted to know.

The Academic version is the full working version. The main difference is that the academic version can not be used for commercial purposes. Also if you need technical support you will have to contact the vendor where you bought the application from...Sony will not provide any support.
