but now i would like to learn how to insert a movie into a movie (if you know what i mean :lol: )

| | Track motion is an easy way. Simply have your TV image on the bottom layer, the video on the top, select track motion and resize the video to fit into the screen area. |

| | you probully think i wanna insert a movie into a still image. thats not what i wanna do, i wanna insert a video clip into a moving clip and so that it will stay with the tv when the movie plays |

You will need to key frame the movements of your overlay at the time points you want it to move, but it is easily achieved. Best plan is just to try it. Play with the clips in a new project to avoid stuffing up the one you're working on. Open the help file, investigated track motion and keyframing and all will become clear. |

| | ok i got it but this takes a while is there any other way for this to be done and faster? cus with this i gotta poit out where i want the movie to go in each frame and i got like 1000 frames  |

| | Take up editing - forget everything else in your life. Tricks like that are time consuming to get just right. As said use the track motion and key frames and dont be too much of a perfectionist.
Vegas has a good help section built in to help you find what is meant.
