Thread: Masking

How do you mask, like i got it to go into Pan/Crop but why is it that weird thing i cant really use it well, sorry im not discriptive, I mean why cant you use strait lines, can you?

Im blurring out a face, I know how to do it but its just pretty difficult to mask out what I need. When i try to circle the face like the line bends, anyone know what I'm talking about? I can post a screen shot if needed.

Sometimes to do a 'crude' mask I use the cookie cutter. For me that can be a quicker way for blurring faces ect.

Duplicate the track, add the cookie cutter to the uppermost track and cookie cut the desired area and add pixellate or gaussian blur. Works for me.
