I'm sure that this is easy to answer but I can't seem to figure Out how to put text ontop of video while it is playing. Like I have a boat sailing and I need to put the name of the boat in text on the bottom but I cant find out how to do it. I'm using Vegas 6.0. THanks

Hi,

Create another video track above the track containing your video.

Then right click in the empty video track and select "Insert Text Media". Here you can format and position the text as you like.
