Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default story boards......

Having read about the importance of detailing the story board for the coming video production.
How do members here set about doing this ? is it really detailed, down to a shot by shot detail?
What do you do ?
Tell all....

Personally I prefr to storyboard at a shot level. I only do this on post-its mind you as I can't afford decent software and don't do enough films to justify anything expensive.

Its well worth the effort though as story boarding gives you a clear idea of how the final film should/may trun out.

I simply use a pen and paper for storyboarding. Very dull, but effective and minimises the amount of time I spend staring at this damn screen.

Yup pen and paper - It would take too long to do it in a pc plus alot of the time you may want to sketch your ideas.
