Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Probably a dumb problem

For some reason, I can't seem to figure out how to preview the video event FX. If I use a panning effect, that gets previewed properly, but I can't tell what the other effects are doing. Does anyone know my problem?

The only thing it could be is this. Look at the fourth icon from the left in the video preview pane (spilt screen view). If it's pressed, your prevewing is without FX. If not, it's full screen. You can also select left or right half preview only to comapre results in real time.

Chance are, it's that.

Hey, that worked. Thanks a lot. Really saved me a bunch of effort (I was rendering each time and seeing if the timing was working correctly).
