| | Vegas 5.0, Text again... Hey guys,
I got another problem with the text. Well, I created a text and put it above the video track. Works well, but then I wanted a black fadeout which stays for like 5 sec., but the text should be still on it. So I created an empty video track and then I potracted the text track above the empty video. My problem is:
The effect of the Text starts over as soon as it is over the first video track.
What do I need to change?
The Text stuff really freaks me out... :P Chen |

I find it hard to make sense of your post, but I'll have a stab. If your video fades to black on one track and your text is above on another track, simply pull the text out to the length you need, and add a fade if you want one.
Text will stretch to any length, or you can specify the length in the text entry box.
(All this info is available via F1 on your keyboard or the HELP button, by the way) |

| | Haha. Sorry.
Well, that's what I did, but the text effect I used startsover when it is above the second/next track. You get me? I want the effect to continue after the first track, not to startover.
The F1-HELP is really useless actually... Chen |

You sure you havent got it looped somehow?
Try typing in the actual time you want the text to run for in the text entry box (top right, from memory) |
