Flash problem with Vegas video 5

hi
im new here
i need help
i tried to import an animated flash file (swf) into vegas video and got an error. the flash file is short animation.

"warning an error occured while opening one or more files
the file format plug ins for the specified format was not properly initialized"

but when i made the flash file non animated, vegas 5 can import the file with no error , but i need to import a short flash animation.

why is that?

Do you have an option to output the flash animation as uncompressed AVI in your flash creation software?

It depends on how the flash file was created. - Within the fla doc if you have movies within movies it will get screwed up.

Similarly if you bring it in to after fx you will find it will prob not play properly
