I am working on a Vegas video project, a fake newscast. For one segment I want to place a small image on the segment of video. How would I do this?

I appreciate any helpful response from anyone reading this.

drag the image and drop it ...
if u need to resize it or move it, go to tools, video, track motion then click on the corners of the square ... its real simple ... let me know if you cant figure it out ... but make sure the image has its own video line ... i dont know the correct name for it cuz im new to this ... but that was a question i asked in this forum before ... hope i helped
