Default sony vegas 3 import

when i import a movie that is .avi and captured in dv quality by movie maker he tells me some warning about (pal/ntsc) and then makes the quality very low.
why is thats? and how can i fix this?
and is vegas 4 is easy to use like 3?

vegas is generally easy to use across the board...as to the warning i dont quite know...yet

i havent try it yet cause im new in this software and i use to capture with movie maker

Well I used Vegas 4.0 and it's not that difficult at all. I'm sure the settings are similar, if you have any questions about capturing in Vegas I'd be glad to try and help.
