Thread: Vegas Movie Studio choppy rendered video?

I recently received a Canon t2i and have been using it a lot. I have been having issues, though, with my videos after they go through Vegas Movie Studio.

Below is an image of the settings I used for "Project Properties".

After doing this though my playback is choppy...

I shoot at 24 fps and my shutter speed stays at 1/48.

During playback on YouTube I was getting quite a number of dropped frames which made it more difficult to do the comparison between the two videos but there is a difference, as you say the one rendered through Vegas does look "choppy".

The original footage seems to be shot in 1080p, is that right, if so why the down conversion to 720p ?

I would try rendering with a different codec. Try the mpeg2 HDV 1080p template for a start but make sure you match the frame rate of 24fps.
