Thread: Can I get smart rendering of a 720p .avi file in Movie Studio 11 as I can with 1080p?

I use VirtualDub and Deshaker for "deshaking" my videos.
I use Xvid codec to save in HD 1080p or HD 720p depending on source video.
VirtualDub save in .avi format.

I then open the 1080p file in Motion Studio 11 and add titles and music.
Selecting "Make a movie" and then HD 1080 i60 YUV makes a very rapid rendering since Movie studio regards the original parts of the video as already finished which is shown with a black window showing that no recompression needed. Only parts with titles are rendered. Thus I only get one rendering of my video which is good.

I have however not succeded to get Smart rendering with my .avi 720p files.
Is it impossible or is there a solution which I have not yet found?

you know movie studio 11 has a video stabilisation, right click clip and its at the top of the context menu

I have tried the video stabilisation in Movie Studio 11 and I am not impressed at all with that function.
I can not chose stabilisation parameters, just chose type of video.
Perhaps I have missed something.
I think Deshaker is better than the video stabilisation in Movie Studio 11 for my videos.
