when i capture my camera onto video studio 9 som parts of the video go all wavey across the screen is there a way of stopping this

ive tried that didnt seem to work

What are the project settings. If you have your project set to DV then it will look like wavy lines on a PC Monitor but will look ok on a TV screen. Can you try the playback on your camera to check?
