Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default How to make a Fade Out with Vegas 5

I've strolled through the FX list trying to find an option and havent yet. I can think of a way I can manually, frame by frame create a fade out by decreasing the brightness/contrast alittle more everytime, but I figure there has to be a much easier way. Heck on windows movie maker you can right click on the video and it has a preset fade out option. Can someone fill me in?

I hope it's simple because I'm gonna be doin it up the wazoo in this video im making.

Dear Oh Dear Oh DEAR!
Dont people read manuals?
Hover your mouse over the end of the clip, and when the pointer changes to a quarter circle, drag that forward or back along the clip. Hey presto.
Right click the fade to see options of fade type.

Then read the B*******Y manual.
