Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Wind sound reduction?

Well I just have recorded awesome times when I was driving my motorbike, the problem there is that there is too much wind sound, if I make a dvd and play it, it will be like: awww too much unwanted sound

how can I reduce that sound ? is it possible to do it with Vegas 5? if yes... than how ?

Thanks in advance

Yes ...

1. Right click the sound clip and select 'Apply Non-Real-Time Event FX'

2. Left click the all folder, then double clcik the noise gate. Play around with the values until you have the desired effect.

... and no. Success will depend largely upon how bad the wind distortion was on the original clip. Very difficult to eliminate this type of noise completely.

Good luck though

I don't seem to have the 'Apply Non-Real-Time Event FX' option. Maybe it's a Vegas 5.0 thing and I only have Vegas 4.0.

I didn't buy the software very long ago (6 months). Maybe we're a bit behind here in Oz...
